Welcome Elgin Community College / SPIRE Students

1. High school graduate from a four-year institution or state equivalent
2. At least 18 years old
3. Complete 75 hours of real estate instruction which includes mastering principles and foundation of real estate (60 hours) and applying theory and case studies into the business of real estate (15 hours)
4. Pass a written examination authorized by the State
5. Register sponsorship with a licensed sponsoring broker
6. Submit a license application to the state with the appropriate fees
7. Be of good moral character

Individuals must complete the following requirements to be eligible to sit for the state license exam.

• Attend 7 sessions of mastering the principles and foundation of real estate
• Attend 5 state required applied pre-license (AP) sessions
• Complete 7 online assignments
• Pass 150 multiple choice final exam
• Individuals will receive a course transcript valid for two years from the date of completion 

Upon registering for the webinar classes:

An introductory email will be sent that includes access information, course calendar, and the shipping tracking number for the real estate textbook.
